Growing more from a planet with less to give
The central task of agriculture has never changed: to coax more life out of the ground than it gave last year, without exhausting the ground itself. What has changed is the difficulty. We are asking the soil to feed billions more people at the very moment the climate is making it harder, and the old approach of simply using more, more land, more water, more chemistry, has run out of room.
We work with the companies rethinking how food is grown. Models that understand the biology of a crop and the chemistry of a soil can help a grower produce more from the same field while using far less of everything it costs the planet: water measured to the plant, inputs placed exactly where they are needed, disease caught before it spreads.
